The NEW Wild Rose Gentle D-TOX Program is the same as the classic Wild Rose Herbal D-TOX Program but with a milder laxative formula Wild Rose Gentle Laxaherb. Focus continues to be on maintaining a healthy balance of assimilation and elimination. The 12-day cleansing program emphasizes supporting the function of the liver, the small intestine and the bowels to promote proper digestion and elimination of toxins and wastes. The Simple Cleanse-Enhancing Diet is designed to encourage continued health, clearing of a congested system or renewal following over-consumption.

The Gentle D-TOX Program allows those who may otherwise feel unable able to complete a cleanse due to personal obligations to enjoy one ‘cheat’ meal in the 12 days, if they choose. If the ‘cheat’ meal is included, the detoxification results will still occur, but metabolic changes will not be achieved. This allowance combined with the herbal formulas make it even easier to maintain health, start a new lifestyle or break old habits.

Directions & Cautions

Recommended Use

Cayenne is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to aid digestion. Rhubarb and Alder Buckthorn are traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as stimulant laxatives.

Directions

Adults, take all supplements with breakfast and supper or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products. Allow at least 6-12 hours for laxative effect to occur. For occasional use only.

Cautions & Warnings

Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have hypokalemia, edema, a kidney or cardiovascular disorder, high or low blood pressure, abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blocking, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes or diarrhoea. Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives, other products containing diuretics or licorice or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Do not take with highly acidic foods or medications which may acidify urine. Do not use if you are allergic to anethole, plants of the Apiaceae/Carrot family or the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking immunosuppressants, have diabetes, liver or gallbladder diseases, intestinal obstruction, a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS or HIV infection, an auto-immune disorder, stomach ulcers or inflammation, a fever, painful urination, spasms, blood in urine, faecal impaction or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting. Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Stop use and consult a healthcare practitioner if you experience any kind of adverse effects to any of the products in the Gentle D-Tox program. Stop use if hypersensitivity occurs. Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heartbeat or difficulty breathing. Reduce dose or stop use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms or diarrhoea. Call a Poison Control Center immediately if overdose or accidental ingestion occurs. *Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 7 days.
