Ecoideas Coconut Sugar resembles brown sugar, but with a delicious natural hint of caramel flavour. This Coconut Sugar is 100% pure and free from additives and artificial flavours. It is made from the nectar of the flowers that grow on the coconut tree (not the coconut or the tree trunk). Extracting nectar from the flowers is a traditional and sustainable procedure that is not harmful to the tree. The pure and unrefined flower nectar is then crystallized to create delicious natural sugar. Coconut sugar is a nutrient-rich, high-value food product derived from the fresh sap of organically grown coconut trees. The sweet juice is extracted when the budding flower is just about to grow – and not from the coconut fruit.
Use Ecoideas Coconut Sugar as you would commonly use other granulated sugars, at a 1:1 ratio. Delicious in coffee, tea and baked goods.
