A standardized dose of Urolithin A, a compound produced by a healthy microbiome combined with well-known health promoting compounds: resveratrol, NMN and the polyamine spermidine. Provides NMN for NAD+ support which declines as we age.
AOR brings 1000 mg Urolithin A, in a synergistic formula of well-studied bioactive compounds for cellular health.
Urolithin A (UA) is a gut-microbiome-derived metabolite of ellagitannins. Ellagitannins are polyphenolic compounds naturally present in plant foods such as pomegranate, almonds and walnuts. UA is being investigated for its role in cellular health through its effects on the mitochondria.
Resveratrol is a plant compound known as a polyphenol and naturally occurs in grapes, dark chocolate, various berries and some herbs. In an active trans-form, resveratrol provides a rich source of antioxidants that help to combat the damaging effects of toxicants on cell health. Many healthful diets have been associated with an increased consumption of compounds called polyamines, such as spermidine. These compounds have been identified as integral parts of cellular and genetic metabolism. Finally, NMN is a B- vitamin derivative that can upregulate the production of an important cellular currency called NAD+.
