High Achievers™ Focus Blend is a terpene formulation designed specifically to help improve focus and mental clarity. This formulation is suitable for use by anyone over the age of 12 years of age.

Focus Requires Short-Term Memory

Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that's particularly important for memory retention and recall. Normally, once acetylcholine has transmitted its signal, it is broken down by an enzyme (acetylcholinesterase). When we inhibit or slow down this enzyme, acetylcholine stays around longer, and improves various parameters of memory. By using terpenes known to slow down the activity of this enzyme, we can help improve short-term memory, and because focus is largely dependent on short-term memory, this blend is especially applicable for anyone wanting greater focus and attention in general (great for students too).

Further, gram-for-gram, the brain is also one of the greatest users of energy, and the mitochondria in our cells require oxygen to efficiently produce large amounts of energy. By helping to dilate the airways (by using terpenes known to be a bronchodilator), we can also help ensure breathing is as smooth and effortless as possible, helping oxygenation of the blood and powering the brain to function optimally during mentally-demanding situations.

Suggested Use

Use as aromatherapy in the same ways essential oils are used.

Direct inhalation (our recommendation): place 2-3 drops in the palm of your hand, rub hands together, cup them around your nose, and take slow deep breaths for a minute or two. Repeat as needed throughout the day. In medicine, dosing is typically based on body weight, so 2 drops for younger teens, 3 for adults (larger individuals may even want to use 4 drops at a time).
