Bovine-sourced heme iron is easily absorbed and assimilated by the body. Contains 11 mg of BSE-free heme iron plus active vitamins B and C. Prevents iron-deficiency anemia and associated tiredness and fatigue.
Heme iron constitutes 95% of functional iron in the human body. Due to being sourced from animal blood, heme iron closely mimics our own iron. This similarity, as well as its polypeptide properties, allow for higher absorption within the intestines. Being derived from animal blood, which our body may recognize from generations of carnivorous diet, heme iron is gentler on the stomach, as compared to other forms of iron. As such, heme iron can be taken with or without food.
Sourced from cattle raised without growth hormones and free of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), this unique formulation provides 11 mg of easily absorbable heme iron per capsule, formulated with active vitamins B and C, ensuring optimal assimilation by the body. Bovine Heme Iron not only helps prevent iron-deficiency anemia but also combats associated tiredness and fatigue.
