Larger than great northern beans, white kidney beans are native to Argentina and much loved in Italy, hence the name ‘Italian’ kidney. They are sweet with a slight nutty flavour and creamy texture; a staple of Mediterranean cuisine. Prized for marinated salads, soups, stews, and with pasta, a must in traditional Italian minestrone. Cannellini are a Tuscan delicacy on bread or crostini when sautéed with EDEN Extra Virgin Olive Oil and ground sage. No salt added. Packed in BPA, BPS, and phthalate free cans since the 90s.
