Made with zinc-oxide, this reef-friendly butter physically blocks UVA/UVB rays and is tinted with iron oxides to blend with most skin tones. Leaves a “barely-there” matte finish. Coral reef friendly (does NOT include oxybenzone, octinoxate, octocrylene, PABA [Aminobenzoic Acid], enzacamene, octisalate, homosalate, avobenzone, toxic preservatives, or additives).

Made from a mineral blend of Zinc oxide and botanical ingredients, this SPF 50 Tinted Mineral Sunscreen Butter uses plant-based iron oxides to blend seamlessly with most skin tones. Super hydrating and goes on smooth thanks to a blend of coconut oil and jojoba oil. This facial sunscreen won’t leave your skin greasy and won’t clog your pores (safe for sensitive skin). The most active ingredient, zinc oxide, actually sits on top of your skin to physically block UVA and UVB rays and beeswax gives this butter an extra layer of protection in the waterproof department (water-resistant for 80 minutes). Broad-spectrum SPF in a super portable tin, perfect for traveling.

Directions

To apply sunscreen butter, start with a small amount and rub it in thoroughly before applying more. For best results, apply liberally and evenly to all exposed skin, ensuring full coverage. Consider moisturizing your skin beforehand, especially if it's on the drier side, as this can help zinc oxide apply more smoothly. Reapply at least every two hours, or more frequently if you're sweating or swimming.

Cautions & Warnings

For external use only. This product is made with iron oxides, which have been known to leave a stain on light, and particularly WHITE fabrics. If you’re rocking tinted sunscreen, try to avoid rubbing your face or body on light-colored clothing, towels, and furniture.
