Ghee is a cooking oil made by simmering butter for hours until all the moisture in the butter has evaporated. The remaining butterfat is then simmered further until the milk solids caramelize, and then filtered out - leaving a clear, golden liquid with a rich, nutty flavour and a higher smoke point compared to regular butter.
Using 100% local Canadian ingredients, this ghee is a play on the traditional “Herb and Garlic” flavours often found in dairy products.
How to Use: OG GHEE can be used exactly as you would butter, or cooking oil. Substitute it 1:1 in your everyday cooking, baking and spreading applications.
