Alpha Organic Red Palm Oil is made from fresh-pressed, ripe red palm fruit, not from the palm kernel. This oil is unrefined, vegan, and rich in antioxidants, vitamins A & E, as well as CoQ10. Red palm oil contains 15 times more beta-carotenes than carrots. Alpha Organic Red Palm Oil is ethically sourced and sustainably produced on small organic farms in Ecuador. No deforestation occurs, nor are natural habitats destroyed in the production of this product, and there are no orangutans in Ecuador.
Alpha Organic Red Palm Oil can be used for medium-high heat cooking, having a smoke point of 218°C (425°F). With its mild taste, it can easily replace butter and other oils in recipes. Does not require refrigeration.
