With 55mg of European black elderberry extract and 50mg of vitamin C per serving, this formula will help get your little ones back on their feet in no time. Plus, it’s in an easy-to-administer and delicious natural blueberry liquid that kids will love!
What are the advantages of elderberry? Elderberries have been used in traditional medicine for hundreds of years for their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. They support the immune system and can help fight colds and flu by acting as a diaphoretic (a substance that promotes sweating) to remove toxins from the body. That’s one fruitful berry!
Why is vitamin C necessary for our health? Vitamin C is an essential nutrient that our bodies need for the growth and repair of body tissue, along with strengthening blood vessel walls, collagen production and a strong immune system. We can’t produce it in our bodies, so we need to get it from outside sources like food (citrus fruits, berries, peppers, broccoli, spinach) or supplements. Taking a supplement is especially beneficial during cold and flu season–that way you can be sure you’re getting your daily vitamin C dose.
