Natural Factors Lactase Enzyme 60s

Helps prevent the symptoms of lactose intolerance and assists in the digestion of dairy products. Lactose intolerance is the inability to digest lactose (milk sugar), caused by the lack of lactase, the enzyme responsible for breaking down lactose in the digestive tract.

Description

Benefits & Features
  • Reduces the symptoms associated with lactose intolerance
  • Minimizes gas and bloating
  • Reduces cramps and abdominal pain
  • Helps digest foods with dairy

Lactose intolerance, the inability to digest milk sugar (lactose), is caused by the lack of or deficiency of lactase, an enzyme manufactured in the small intestine that breaks down lactose. Lactase enzyme assists in the digestion of dairy products. Supplemental lactase replaces the body’s missing enzyme, thereby effectively relieving the uncomfortable symptoms of diarrhea, gas, and bloating that result from lactose intolerance.

Natural Factors Lactase Enzyme helps prevent the symptoms of lactose intolerance. As it is an enzyme that works directly on lactose present in food being ingested, the capsules must be taken each time lactose-containing foods are consumed as the enzyme only works on the food just consumed. Lactase has no lasting effect beyond the meal with which it is taken.

For prolonged use, consult a health care practitioner.
